Story

Tired of witnessing too many of our friends and fellow workers battle occupational cancer, a group of active veteran firefighters from Phoenix Arizona set out to find science-based solutions to reduce this rising cancer trend. We realized however, that processes used in studies were not always as usable in the field. So, we went to work designing tools that could merge conclusive scientific data with firefighter’s real-world activities.

The StormStick Decon System is a byproduct of the passionate work our team has been involved in to help enhance the health and longevity of firefighters. We took a broad range of data then worked with engineers, machinists and industry experts to design and manufacture our system. We then utilized some of Arizona’s busiest fire companies to extensively test our system for over a year using virtually every type of real-world fire situation. The result is a premium system that is both usable and incredibly effective.

At StormStick Decon we provide training, resources and tools to help all frontline firefighters reduce cancer risk. We are committed to doing the right thing, in the right way, for the right reason. We refer to this as Decon Done Right!
